The selection of edge cutting die material mainly considers the following three aspects:
1. Electroslag remelting steel is selected to improve the metallurgical quality of the material by improving the purity of the steel and controlling the carbide level;
2, choose the appropriate toughening process, fenghua lay wire board to give full play to the property potential of the material;
3, the use of alloying principle to choose higher toughness and red hardness die materials to meet the requirements of different types and specifications of bolts.
W6Mo5Cr4V2, LD, GM three kinds of die steels are used for machining Q235 and 35 steel bolts.For the processing of 304HC stainless steel bolts, W6Mo5Cr4V2, SKH51, W6Mo5Cr4V2Co5 three kinds of die steel were selected for comparative test respectively.
In terms of processing edge cutting die for M8mm bolts, the service life of LD steel is high, followed by GM steel, and low by W6Mo5Cr4V2 steel. Moreover, the service life of LD and GM steel molds is equivalent to that of similar imported molds.When processing stainless steel bolts, W6Mo5Cr4V2 steel has a high service life, GM and LD steel have basically the same service life, and the service life of W6Mo5Cr4V2 steel die is equivalent to the same kind of imported die.The material processed changes, the choice of mold material also changes.Such as W6Mo5Cr4V2 steel mold, when processing carbon steel life is the shortest, but when processing stainless steel life is high.
